To know Celebrity Makeup Artist, and Photographer and Filmmaker, Tammie Lee, CEO of TamiVision Studios, LLC, is to know and experience the creative passion for art and for God that lives in her soul and drives her vision. She has an innate ability to see and enhance the beauty within all things. She is a natural born artist; her favorite mediums... light, makeup, and paint.

 

As a teen, her friends were always her guinea pigs, patiently allowing her to paint their faces, paint scenes on their nails and then photograph the looks.

 

Professionally, painting flawless faces has landed her on the sets of many television and film productions from coast to coast, working with celebrities such as, Kaitlynn Symone, Tamela Mann, Jamie Foxx, Ava DuVernay,  Solange Knowles, Steve Harvey, Lira, Fantasia, Jill Scott, Marcia Ambrosius, Kym Whitley, Chris Brown, Lil Romeo, Mary Mary, Nick Cannon, Salli Richardson and many more.

 

Her work has graced the pages of various magazines such as: Rap-Up Magazine, Pose Magazine and Zuri Magazine.

 

JC Penney, Macy’s, Lexus, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Procter & Gamble, NBC, Centric and BET Networks are just some of her clients.

 

She has done makeup for fashion shows, theater, print, proms and weddings. She has also lent her professionalism to instructing makeup seminars.



Intrigued by the marriage of makeup and film/photography, Tammie studied art, photography, television and film, earning a B.A in Mass Media Arts at The University of the District of Columbia, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then moved on to attend Graduate Film School at Howard University in Washington, DC, where she gained extensive knowledge of film making.

 

The latest production, 'BE LED', a 6 part webisode written, produced and directed by Tammie Lee, is a gospel, Christian ministry, featuring the soulful songstress, B. Moise.
